Big Eyed Girls - paintings by EDEN

Big Eyed Girls
artist: EDEN (first name unknown)
circa 1970's
purchased for $10

Apparently, in the 60's and 70's, there was a wave of artists (Keane, Eden, Gig, Igor) doing paintings of people and animals with big eyes. To me, Eden was the best of this group. And these prints are some of the best of his (or her) work. These are super cute.

Growing up back in the 60s and 70s, my sisters and I had this paintings in our bedrooms. We had 5 different paintings of the big eyed girls. In 1995, my daughter was about 4, I found two in a garage sale and could not resist. My daughter is now 18 and I found them in the attic...they could be yours...

Hello, I have 3 paintings by Eden. 1 is the same as you have pictured. I was going to list them on Ebay but have no idea of their value. Can you tell me anything you know about the value of these? thank you so much! beffy4@yahoo.com

I own an actual original painting by Eden and is the black-haired sister to the redhead you have pictured there. Are those 3 original art or prints? Gotta love the Edens!

I have 4. The girl with the ukulele, in the jester outfit, one at an easle painting a cat and one in rags with her hair sticking throgh holes in a cap. I found these underneath other paintings so thought that was odd.

Eden and Keane are 2 different artists. I prefer Eden, though Keane is popular now because of Big Eyes.

Hi. Are these for sale at all? I have been trawling through the internet trying to find the 3 girls in print form. My mother has the 3 girls on a lamp she got when she was 17, and I always loved them so much.
